It seems like it was only 1 year ago in April that I was laid off from another company. However, I was in a different position at that time and it was not until September that I got another job again. Either way both lay offs in my life had occurred in April so far. Will I experience another lay off in April next year?
One positive aspect about all of this is that I don’t have to get up early and can sleep in. Plus I have more free time on my hands to work on things like this blog,my website, my youtube account, or even my ebay account.
On a positive note I did manage to get 2 weeks severance pay and at least 40 hours in PTO so I don’t want to come off like I am complaining about getting laid off. However, I really did like where I was working and hope I can get another position there.
I enjoy reading the report, too. It′s easy to understand that a journey like this is the biggest event in ones
life.
